Terms and Conditions

First Travel.com t/a UK Chauffeur Services & Airport Transfer Solutions (referred to in the agreement as 'we, us or our') acts as a disclosed agent for third party transport providers (the "Supplier"). The contract for the provision of transport service is between you and the Supplier. Please also note that as you are contracting directly with the supplier you may also be bound by their terms and conditions of booking. By ordering any services from our websites, you are entering into a contract with the supplier for the supply of services. You agrre to be legally bound by these terms and conditions of use as they apply to your booking.

FIRST TRAVEL.COM ('the Company') agrees to hire to the customer ('the customer') the vehicle(s) upon the following Terms and Conditions.

The Company Name: First Travel.com Company Registration: Registered in England & Wales No. 6844719

The Hire Charge is payable in full at the time of booking. The Company will issue a receipt and confirmation for the booking.

Vehicles are fully insured for third party and passenger claims. However, whilst every care may be taken, customers personal property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage of/to those items.

Responsibility lies with the customer to ensure that baggage is accounted for and loaded into/unloaded from the vehicle prior to leaving the point of departure/arrival.

Responsibility lies with the client to ensure that the Vehicle ordered is suitable for the number of Passengers & Volume of baggage to be transported. If you are in any doubt the company should be contacted for advice.

The Company will use reasonable means to ensure that the vehicle(s) arrive(s) at the agreed time and that they reach their destination on time. Customers should make sure they leave sufficient time to reach their destinations. The Company accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any delays however caused.

The Company may if required substitute vehicle hired if ie: Breakdown; Accident; Driver or Client delay out with The Companies control, to an alternative Executive Class vehilcle.

The Company allows a reasonable amount of luggage to be carried in its vehicles. Luggage , which in the opinion of the Driver amounts to excessive weight or amount will not be carried. A separate luggage vehicle or trailer can be supplied at an additional cost. Please ask if unsure.

The Company reserves the right to sub contract to other companies should the need arise.

Cancellations: for all vehicles

24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF TRAVEL; FULL AMOUNT OF TOTAL INVOICE CHARGED

24 TO 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF TRAVEL; 50% OF TOTAL INVOICE CHARGED; MININUM CHARGE OF £20.00 sterling + VAT.

48 HRS TO 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF TRAVEL; 20% OF TOTAL INVOICE CHARGED; MININUM CHARGE OF £20.00 sterling + VAT.

OVER 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF TRAVEL; 10% OF TOTAL INVOICE CHARGED; MININUM CHARGE OF £20.00 sterling + VAT.

Mini bus & coach hire

Due to our high demand of Mini Bus & Coach Hire, 100% payment of all Reservations at time of booking. Cancellation fees of 50% of Total invoice to cover our costs of reserving the Vehicles.
Cancellation fees of 100% of Total invoice for cancellations of Mini Bus or Coach booking within 72 hours of Reservation date.

Airport transfers

The Company will endeavor to meet the client at the allotted place at the allotted time, we generally allow 45 mins. to 1 hour for International flights to clear after landing and 20 to 30 mins. for Domestic flights to clear. Please phone if you are a light traveler or are delayed at baggage reclaim or customs.

Vat is Applied to Service Charge Only. These booking conditions cover all bookings made through First Travel.com, including bookings made on the first-travel.com and airporttransferservices.co.uk websites.

Prices quoted are per vehicle."

Airport Parking
All Clients to contact First Travel.com approximately 20 min before arrival at airport.
Whilst every due care & attention is always taken by our staff, First Travel.com cannot accept any responsibility for any damages claimed as responsible by the client (with acception accidents whilst driven by our staff). (Driven by our Staff: Means: Our Driver has to be in Vehicle at Time of Incident.) Car Parking: When Vehicle parked in The Car Parks, The vehicles are insured on owners own Insurance cover:
Customers are welcome to sign a disclaimer for mileage and body damage at the time of handover signed by both parties.

The onus is on the client to fill in any disclaimer form at handover.

The client is responsible for booking forms to be filled in accurately as inaccurate return times and flight numbers can result in delays of vehicle returns.

Suppliers Terms & Conditions

First Travel expect all Drivers to be Well Presented, Uniformed and Courteous towards all Clients at All Times and where requested, to assist clients in any additional requirements.

First Travel expect all Vehicles supplied by suppliers to be Well Presented at all times, ie: Clean, Tidy & Properly maintained.

Vehicle Type booked by Client should be strictly adhered to. ie: Saloon Car or MPV as requested.

Payment Terms for Suppliers: Payment for work covered by suppliers are within 5 working days of payment being received from Customer ie: Payments from On-line Booking system will be paid within 5 working days of receiving invoice from supplier. Payment from account customers will be paid on First Travel receiving payment from Account Customer and then within 5 working days of this. Under No circumstances will First Travel make payment to suppliers before receiving payments from Online booking or Account Customers. The onus is on suppliers and drivers to understand the terms and conditions before accepting work from First Travel.

All On-Line payment transactions are in Sterling (GBP).

The Customer
The company does not accept responsibility for information wrongly input through the booking system. Full payment would be witheld for failure to carry out a job due to wrong data being entered by the customer.

Amendments can be made to bookings by contacting a member of staff on the national enquiry line 0844 209 2502.

The company
For circumstances out with the customer or the company's control, First Travel will endeavor to accommodate such changes.
